ROO-VER consortium partners
The ELO₂ Consortium is designing, building, testing, and operating Roo-ver on the Moon, in partnership with the Australian Space Agency.
Co-led by grantee EPE Oceania and technical lead Lunar Outpost Oceania, the ELO₂ Consortium brings together the best of Australian research and innovation, helping the Roo-ver program demonstrate Australia’s capabilities to the world.

In its 25th year of operation, EPE’s purpose is to enable and protect Australians and allies operating in hazardous environments. EPE provides specialist support to government agencies and defence organisations to undertake design and integration activities, and deliver niche capabilities in robotics, sensors and effectors for deployment in hazardous environments.
EPE works closely with industry and research and development organisations to develop technology and products for commercialisation, and provides technology verification and validation (V&V) services at its south-east Queensland-based MILTECS facilities (Military Training, Evaluation, Certification and Systems Assurance).

The Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) opened in 2006 as one of six specialist Math and Science Education Centres and operates under the Department of Education Tech Schools division. VSSEC is a not-for-profit government organisation that uses the Science of Teaching to Teach Science and Mathematics.
VSSEC offers teacher professional development, curriculum materials, and student programs to schools in Victoria and across Australia. We explicitly target regional and rural, and metro disadvantaged schools to provide students a chance to make an informed choice about their place in STEM.
